I am interested in the complicated relationship of humans and the Earth. How do humans relate to nature, and is ecological disruption linked to human nature? How can we make up for what's been lost? How does society arise from the natural world? How is power created and maintained? And most importantly: how can we become better stewards of the biosphere, including ourselves and each other?
