Anne Nai-tien Huang | Sustainability Evaluation Expert

With 15 years of professional experience, including a decade specializing in Sustainability across Europe, North America, and Asia, Anne offers deep expertise in business sustainability ratings, third-party ESG and compliance assessments—utilizing both data-driven and on-site audits—and comprehensive CSR strategy development. Now leading her own independent consultancy, she draws on over a decade of multi-faceted experience in sustainability roles, encompassing analysis, product development, go-to-market strategies, and client sales.

In her previous role as Head of ESG at Dun & Bradstreet, Anne spearheaded the go-to-market strategy and pre-sales for the company’s new ESG solution, achieving a threefold increase in year-over-year sales revenue. Prior to that, she served as Sustainability Product Lead at Bureau Veritas in Paris, the world’s second-largest TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) firm, where she created a sustainability management solution focused on supply chain maturity monitoring. Before Bureau Veritas, Anne was a Project Manager and Senior Analyst at EcoVadis, a leading global sustainability rating agency, where she assessed CSR performance for over 1,500 companies and trained Fortune 500 clients in EcoVadis’s methodology and supply chain sustainability between 2014 and 2018.

During a break between her roles at EcoVadis and Bureau Veritas, Anne pursued an MBA and completed a sustainability framework project for the smart mobility service division of FAW-Volkswagen, China’s second-largest automotive company, as part of her summer internship. She also authored and published three business case studies on sustainable business models, including one on EcoVadis and the ESG rating landscape.

Earlier in her career, Anne focused on corporate compliance, starting as an auditor at KPMG and later as an Associate at ISSC Technology Corp., where she supported the company’s pre-IPO journey. She also contributed to public-private environmental initiatives, policy research with a Foreign Policy think tank, and nonprofit work with corporate philanthropy. This diverse background has shaped her holistic approach to sustainability, integrating cross-functional insights.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Urban & Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, and an MBA from INSEAD.
